With all of our family in town we decided it was the perfect time to have Maxwell baptised.
Nana and Poppa came over from Yakima.
Grandpa was there.
Auntie Courtney, the Godmother, and Uncle Brian made a day trip from Yakima. So did Grandpa J.
Great-Grandpa Walt and Great-Grandma Polly were here from Boise.
And of course the Texans, Uncle Jacob and Aunt Kelly.

| Father Fred did a great job welcoming Max into the Catholic community. |
| He even let him smell the oil before he rubbed it on his forehead and neck. |
| Max really liked this part. I bet it reminded him of the California Baby cream I rub on his nose when he wakes up all snotty. |
Max is a new walker so he preferd to be on is own two feet.
After seeing this picture of him I don't think I can call him a baby anymore.
Father Fred walked us through the "big dunk" before it actually happened. You can see Max was getting a little nervous. |
But he loved it!
NOT! |
| However, he did LOVE all the attention and the round of applause. |
| Then it was time for the candle. Courtney, Nick's sister, is Max's Godmother and Chris, my brother, is the Godfather. You can't get better spiritual guidance than from these two. |
| Max thought this was the perfect time to make his escape. |
| But another round of applause reined him in. |
He is such a ham.
A Catholic ham. |
