Max had his first run in with the ice cream man (who I will from now on refer to as the ICM). He had already past our house but we were able to flag him down.
Max waited so patiently.
Evidently we weren't the first camera wielding parents the ICM had ever met. He asked if we wanted a picture in front of the "truck".
Of course! Maybe he reads this blog and recognized us. :)
When it was clear that we had no idea what kind of ice cream treat to buy a 1 year old the ICM kindly offered a recommendation. In his experience, most parents go with the push pop.
Done deal.
Then it was time for the ICM to be on his merry way.
Clearly Max was having a hard time understanding why we'd just purchased candy out of a strange man's "truck". Tacos are one thing but ice cream??
But all good kids do what their parents say.
Even when they are still unsure.
(Please excuse the chipped paint. We are in the process of painting our front door. It's a two year process. We're almost done!)
Max didn't LOVE the push pop but he gave it a good try. Nick on the other hand thought it was delish.
Ahhh summer.

jealous! this is on our summer bucket list. the ice cram man keeps taunting me by driving down the street next to ours and sadly, skipping mine. apparently my 80 + neighbors don't make for good customers.
